- Drive change and improvement with customers to deliver category growth through consumer understanding resulting in good insights, relevant innovation, and category management where relevant.
- Driving volume and margin targets to meet company forecast and budget.
- Building insight into the retail rate of sales on a category to optimize sales volume and range assortment.
Key Customer Satisfaction
- Ensuring that the optimal Service Levels are achieved.
- Channeling queries and complaints to the satisfaction of the clients.
- Feedback and follow-up on queries and complaints.
- Closely Monitor Production Block/Recipe yields to ensure costings are aligned with clients CM.
- Manage/Limit Waste Generated from Biltong, Retail, and Manufacturing Plants.
Costing / Pricing
- Responsible for weekly updating of sales prices in conjunction with finance as raw material input prices change to ensure margin expectations are met.
- Oversee initial product costings and monitor through Pre-Production and first production runs.
People Management OR Departmental Engagement
- Implement, drive, and manage all people development initiatives linked to the Human Resources Strategy including performance management, succession planning, talent management, etc. to ensure the team’s performance meets the required standards.
- Set medium to long term goals and objectives for the relevant area of control and monitor progress against these.
- Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive and performing working environment.

Must have their reliable vehicle and license. Must be able to speak English & Afrikaans fluently. This is an office-bound position
R17 500 – R19 500 TCTC per month, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
- Discretionary bonus – depending on candidates performance
- Any BCom qualification or equivalent
- 2 + years’ experience in sales will be highly advantageous
